The Choral Public Domain Library is an excellent source for musicians because you can dig up choral sheet music for free! With over 7,500 scores listed in its data base, it is one of the largest free sheet music sites. The search gets as specific as possible. If you are searching for seasonal music or Bulgarian chants, there are hundreds of options and you have the choice of listening to and printing the parts.

Whether you want to learn the very basics (staff, clefs, rest duration, dots and ties, steps and accidentals) or more complex theory involving learning triads in second or third inversion, this site has it all. A teacher could use this as a tool or guideline to teach students in class, or as an assignment for students to take home and learn specific sections. The database also includes translations for many arias and aria texts. Also, it gives you access to a collection of operatic sound files to give site viewers a taste of what each aria sounds like. This is a must have resource for any choral instructor.

Although this site is not strictly surrounding the aspect of music education, an educator could use this as a valuable resource for organizing music lessons and balancing out activities according to certain musical aspects.
